'Ironman' Graef Take One for the Team...106 Times!
Move over Craig Biggio and Don Baylor. Mark Graef is on your heels. Over the past 13 years of playing in the Puget Sound Senior Baseball League, Mark has been ‘drilled’ 106 times in league
play and about another 25 counting playoffs and MSBL World Series play. His
past teams in the PSSBL have included the Volcanoes, Cyclones, Twins, Nuts,
Islanders and Bears.
Mark currently plays with the Ravens in the 45-older ‘Smokey’
division and the Bears in the 55-over ‘Everest’ division. Marc also plays in the ‘Rocky’ division with
both his sons Kramer and Brandon. Teammates and friends around the league named
O'Connell Leads the Way in Long Island Playoffs
Mike O’Connell plays for the New York Black Sox in the
18-over ‘A’ division of the Long Island MSBL. The Black Sox have a seven game winning streak and are 13-6 on the
season and are thick into the playoffs.
In the most recent two
playoff games Mike was 4-8 including two home runs, one a grand salami, with a
total of seven RBI, three runs scored and a couple of stolen bases thrown in
for good measure. Mike's season stats are shown below:
