The 2011 Nomsbl season was one of the best seasons in terms of weather and competition that we have had since Hurricane Katrina hit in 2005. The league featured some of the best pitching in the region not just the league. The 2011 season had former pro and college players and of course the real back bone of the league the players who just love the game. We saw only 2 weekends rained out which in South Louisiana is unheard of and some unbelievable games. The league would like to thank The University of New Orleans for allowing us to use their Stadium for every weekend we needed it and for the excellent playing surface. We are hoping 2012 is even better. The League was won by the South Kenner Blue Moose a team comprised of players who had played in the league prior to Hurricane Katrina with a few new additions. The Runner up in 2011 was the Slidell Cardinals, one of the oldest ( being in the league and age) teams in the league.
