Alex Shutterly took command on the bump and shut down the Angels 13-1 with a complete game as his Phoenix Tube defeated the Arizona Angels to capture the 35+ Mountain/Central crown

Dan Clemens came in to close the door in the ninth with two on and a one run lead. This, on his birthday, was a special assignment for a starter as he rose to the occasion to secure the 50+ cactus title

MVP Tommy Midgley spent the previous night in the hospital but returned in time to help his Ohio Classics win their third title with a 20-9 thumping of the San Antonio Texans

Pitcher Jeff Hunter was a true iron man who threw in eight of the Zephyrs nine games and came away with an MVP trophy and a win in the championship game

Eddie Russell was dominant on the hill giving up only five singles through eight innings while his So Cal Reds defeated the always tough So Cal Snappers to win the 25+ national division

Skylar Wallin led the way with four hits as the Utah Rockies launched a five run eighth inning explosion to take the lead for good and hang on for the 40+ mountain division championship
